FAQ for GMC Yukon LED Lights
How to change a headlight bulb on a GMC Yukon?
GMC Yukon headlight bulb replacement generally requires completing the following steps.
ACCESS THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY: Open the hood and locate the headlight assembly. Depending on the model, you may need to remove parts such as the air filter housing or fender liners to access the headlights.
Removing the Headlight Assembly: Unscrew the bolts holding the headlight assembly and gently pull them out to access the bulb sockets.
REPLACE BULB: Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb, remove the bulb holder by turning it counterclockwise, and replace the old bulb with a new one.
REASSEMBLY: Reinstall the headlight assembly, reconnect any parts that were removed, and test the new bulb to make sure it is working properly.
Will LED headlights be brighter than traditional bulbs?
Yes, LED headlights are usually brighter than traditional halogen bulbs.
LEDs produce a more intense and focused light output, which improves roadway visibility, especially at night or in low-light conditions. In addition, LED headlights are more energy efficient, last longer, have better color temperature performance, and make the road look brighter and clearer than halogen bulbs.
How do I find out what bulb I need for my headlights?
The easiest way to determine the correct headlight bulb size for your GMC Yukon is to consult the owner's manual or refer to the original bulb base model size identification. If you can't determine the bulb you need through these means, it's always a good idea to check the RIMTHIN Bulb Finder, which is easy to find by entering the year, make, and model of your vehicle.
Can you put LED bulbs in GMC Yukon headlights?
Yes, you can upgrade your GMC Yukon's headlights to LED bulbs for improved brightness and energy efficiency. However, make sure the LED bulbs are compatible with your vehicle's headlight housings and electrical system. It is recommended that you consult your owner's manual or a professional to confirm compatibility and avoid potential problems.
Is it legal to replace headlights with LEDs in the US?
In the United States, the legality of replacing headlights with LED headlights depends on meeting the standards of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and state traffic laws. If the replacement LEDs meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS 108) and are certified, they are generally legal.
How much does it cost to convert headlights to LED?
The cost of converting headlights to LEDs usually depends on the model, brand, and quality of the LED headlights. The approximate cost range is about $30 to $200 per headlight, and the entire conversion process may include replacing bulbs, controllers, and circuits for an overall cost of roughly $50 to $300.

Is it worth upgrading to LED headlights?
Replacing your headlights with LED headlights is something that many users are in favor of. Environmentalists who prefer electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid vehicles will appreciate the energy savings of LED lights. Why? Because they don't require as much power as halogen lamps at a similar level of brightness. LED headlights use up to 80% less energy than halogen lights.

from 2513 reviewsThese bulbs did the job nicely, not too bright for my needs and they don't blind drivers. Installation was easy on a 2013 Elantra high beam replacement. Will update if anything changes in the long run.
These LED lights are amazing!! I normally don't write reviews unless something really impresses me. My wife's SUV was blowing halogen bulbs every few weeks. I got tired of buying bulbs, replacing bulbs. (NO, I WAS NOT TOUCHING THE GLASS!) I bought here these for the longevity, but was blown away by how much they improved the visibility. I don't know how long these will last, but i know when my truck is due for bulbs, ones like these are going in it!! Behold the pictures, these are low beams. They even shine to the sides better, which in deer country, is an asset
H11 Fits my old Camry. The brightness is close to the original one.
I have a 2014 Prius C. Still had factory lights and could barely see. The color and brightness is perfect not to mention the great price. Way better deal here than at the car shops. Highly recommend
I bought these for our little commuter car because we didn’t get much light out of the stock lights. Photo attached is during install. Left is the new, right is the old. Super easy to install, it’s just plug n play. HUGE difference, great for the price, I highly recommend

Way better lighting than my oem lights and an overall better look. Well worth the money!
They make me real happy big difference in visual. Brighter & clearer the normal yellow headlights. Bought lows and highs. AMAZING purchase
There fog lamps are great! They’re super bright perfect for bad weather conditions and easy plug and play. Would highly recommend if you’re in search of some quality bulbs !
Easy install . Very bright lights . In my photo the new led bulbs are on the left with the old halogen on the right.
The lights were a simple plug and play and they work amazingly. You can hear the little fans running so that helps me from leaving them on. Used same for high and low beams on 87 Chevy Blazer. Make sure you change all your lights to LED.
I like the pattern of the low beam a lot! Very bright. I struggled with adjustment, because when I got the low beam where I wanted it, the high beam seemed too high. Also the high beam seems to loose the pattern and diffuse a bit. Overall, they are worth the price. I opted to put the low beam where I liked it and live with the high beam not being optimal. I actually went a little low on the low beam to limit blinding other drivers. They do seem a bit bright oncoming
8bulbs one side, super bright ,and good design that don’t have to clean more eletric cables
I installed these headlights for my dad for Christmas because it was getting harder for him to see at night. World of difference. The white light helps a lot more and the install process took about a half hour.
So I've got these because I was going to be replacing the ones that I had in it. They installed great perfect and easy so far they have held up. They are durable and I live in a city that they kind of don't care about the roads I have actually had people flash me because they thought I had my highbeams on when I actually had my lows on. There is just one thing that is kind of bothering me with it after having them on for a while. I start to get like a humming noise and it only happens when they're on and I drive a old 1997 Dodge ram 1500.
